8:4. ଅତଏବ ମାଂସ ଖାଇବା ବିଷୟ ରେ ମୁଁ ଏହା କ ହେ ଯେ, "ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣୁ ଯେ ଜଗତ ରେ ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ପ୍ରତିମା ବୋଲି କିଛି ନାହିଁ। ଏବଂ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣୁ ଯେ ଜଣେ ମାତ୍ର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅଛନ୍ତି।

8:4. With regard then to eating food sacrificed to idols, we know that "an idol in this world is nothing," and that "there is no God but one."

8:4. So, what about eating meat that has been offered to idols? Well, we all know that an idol is not really a god and that there is only one God.

8:4. Concerning therefore the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that no idol is anything in the world, and that there is no God but one.
